While poses or “asana” are the primary focus for yoga practitioners in the west, it’s important to me to teach the full, rich system of tools and techniques that yoga has to offer. The body you have - right now - is perfectly perfect and ready for yoga. The practice is here as a reminder of that perfection and designed to help you feel that wholeness more fully. Strength and flexibility may come along the path, but there’s so much more in the yoga than just the physical.

PRIVATE CLASSES

Private yoga classes with Dana are one-on-one or small group classes tailored to your specific needs. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced yogi, private sessions are a wonderful way to connect more profoundly with your body, your mind and your spirit. 

​HOW IT WORKS

Sessions whether one-on-one, smaller groups, or corporate events, can be held via Zoom in this Covid 19 era, or in person, outside with social distance Covid precautions. When we are beyond this challenging time, privates can be held in a setting of your choosing. 

During one-on-one yoga sessions we will focus on the fundamentals of yoga. Whether you are at the very beginning of your yoga path or have been practicing for some time, I will meet you precisely where you are to enhance your personal yogic journey. 

Depending upon where you are on this road and what sparks you, we will focus on alignment and breath as we explore various asana, the 3rd limb of yoga, and if desired, we will step toward the 7th limb of yoga—meditation, all in an effort to create a sustainable practice for you where growth is assured on and off the mat. 

FIRST SESSION

The first session with Dana is a 'get to know each other’ session where we will discuss your goals, your hopes and if needed, dispel misconceptions about yoga. I will explain what you can expect from me, and answer any questions that you may have—there is no such thing as a dumb question so ask away. I am here to serve you. My guarantee to you is that each class will be fun, will make you smile and when it’s done you will feel better than you did at the beginning.
